Purchase $DEFY via Quickswap

Purchasing $DEFY via Quickswap in 3 easy steps.

Step 1 - Acquiring your own Crypto Wallet

There are several crypto wallets available. It is best to do your own research, but one of the most popular is Metamask, which can be acquired from Metamask.io. If you prefer not to use Metamask, you can use any ERC-20 wallet. If you have signed up to the DEFY app as a New User from 30th March 2023 via Magic Link, then a wallet will be automatically created for you. However you will still need Metamask to import the private key and you will need to gain access to the wallet. Please see here if you want to gain access to your wallet. After choosing and setting up your wallet proceed to Step 2.

❗️(Please Note: remember to write your seed phrases on a piece of paper and keep them safe)

Step 2 - Funding the wallet

  1. Go to https://quickswap.exchange
  2. Connect to your crypto wallet. If you have crypto currency in the wallet already and want to use it to exchange for $DEFY proceed to Step 3.

  3. Scroll down to Buy crypto with Fiat.

  4. Click Buy Now.
  5. Select your Country followed by your Payment Method.

  6. Follow the steps of the chosen method.

    7. ❗️(Please note: best to purchase a token on the Polygon Network, USDT, Matic can be suitable choices)

  7. After you have funded your wallet proceed to Step 3.

Step 3 - Purchasing $DEFY

  1. Click here to proceed to the exchange your crypto currency for $DEFY and make sure you wallet is connected.
  2. In the From: section select the Token you can to exchange for $DEFY.

  3. Type the amount you want to exchange for $DEFY.
  4. The amount of $DEFY you will receive will appear in the To (estimate) section.
  5. Click Swap to proceed and Confirm Swap.

  6. After you confirm you will need to confirm once again on your crypto wallet. This will pop up as a notification for you to proceed with the transaction.
  7. Click Confirm on the wallet pop up notification.
  8. If your transaction fails try increasing the Gas. For more information on how to increase the GWEI on Metamask please see here.

Want to use your Tokens on the Black Market? follow the next step

Step 4 - Transferring your Tokens to use on the Black Market

  1. If you have used the same crypto wallet that is currently attached to your game account to acquire $DEFY Tokens over Quickswap, then no further action is needed. Simply head over to the Black Market and Sign in. If they are separate wallets or if you acquired $DEFY tokens by other means, please continue below.
  2. To transfer your $DEFY Tokens to the same wallet connected to the DEFY app, you can use the Send function on any crypto wallet.

  3. Click the $DEFY Tokens in your wallet.
  4. Click Send.
  5. Enter your wallet address that is attached to your game account.
  6. Proceed to follow the steps.
  7. If your transaction fails try increasing the Gas. For more information on how to increase the GWEI on Metamask please see here.
  8. After confirming you should be able to see your $DEFY on your account on the Black Market.
