What is the use case / utility of the Premium Mask Digital Collectible?

The DEFY Masks will be essential when you play the mobile game. They will be your avatar/identity, provide you with benefits and better utility compared to F2P generic masks. Down the line you can make upgrades to your Mask as you progress through missions, customising it to suit your style.

I can’t purchase a DEFY NFT / Digital Collectible (Mask/Decal)

If your transaction is failing through MetaMask please make sure you do have enough funds for the NFT and enough for gas. You may want to increase the GWEI as a second step. Please check here. If it still fails there could be an issue with OpenSea, please try again later. You can also contact OpenSea for additional help. Please note that not all DEFY Digital Collectibles are tradable. Please check it out here.

I just got myself a mask! What do I do now?

Awesome, welcome to the DEFY Revolution! To gain the full experience of DEFY we would recommend joining our Discord. There will be group tasks in the Channels. Purchased a DEFY Mask but it’s not displayed in my OpenSea account

Please check in your Hidden Folder in your OpenSea account. Please try following the steps below:

  1. Click on your Profile.
  2. Click More tab.
  3. Hidden is located at the bottom of the list.

Purchased a DEFY Mask but it’s not displayed in app

Please pick and try following the steps below:

Option 1 - For New Players
  1. Please make sure your Mask is in the wallet connected to the DEFY app.
  2. If your Mask/s are not displayed after setting up your account please wait 1-2 hours as masks are synced in the app every hour.

Option 2 - For Existing Players
  1. Please make sure your Mask is in the wallet connected to the DEFY app.
  2. Load the DEFY app.
  3. On the home screen click on the Mask you already have displayed.
  4. Click ‘Refresh Masks From Wallet’ button.
  5. This should now display any Mask you added into your wallet.

Rarity Level is not displayed on my Mask on OpenSea

Please try following the steps below:

  1. Bring up your Mask on OpenSea.
  2. Click the 3 dots under the trolley on the right to bring up a menu.
  3. Click Refresh metadata.
  4. Scroll to Properties on the Left.
  5. Under Properties click Level.
  6. Rarity Score is displayed

Is the DEFY NFTs / Digital Collectible tradable in the marketplace?

Most of the DEFY NFTs are tradable on OpenSea but not all, please check out the table below:

Only the Intel Operative Badge can be traded. The rest are soul bound and cannot leave the wallet it is currently in.
Invite Cards
Invite Cards do expire so best to check with support in the Discord regarding benefits. You do not need an Invite Card to mint at the moment.

My transaction is failing through MetaMask

Please try Option 1 and then Option 2:

Option 1 - Reset MetaMask and bump up GWEI
  1. Clear any pending transactions by resetting MetaMask. Start by clicking your account.
  2. Go into Settings.
  3. Click Advanced.
  4. Click Reset Account.
  5. Confirm to Reset.
  6. Try again to mint but before confirming on the wallet pop up increase the GWEI.
  7. Do this by clicking Edit.
  8. Click Advanced Options.
  9. Increase the Max priority fee and Max fee.
  10. Confirm transaction.

Option 2 - Change RPC, Reset MetaMask and bump up GWEI
  1. To change RPC check the RPC list here and copy the fastest.
  2. Click to your account.
  3. Go to your MetaMask click Settings.
  4. Go into Networks.
  5. Select your Polygon Network aka Matic Mainnet.
  6. Replace New RPC URL with the one you got from the RPC list.
  7. Clear any pending transactions by resetting MetaMask.
  8. Go into Settings.
  9. Click Advanced.
  10. Click Reset MetaMask.
  11. Confirm to Reset.
  12. Try again to mint but before Confirming on the wallet pop up increase the GWEI.
  13. Do this by clicking Edit.
  14. Click Advanced Options.
  15. Increase the Max priority fee and Max fee.
  16. Confirm transaction.
