App not behaving as expected?
Please try completing the troubleshooting steps below in the order presented. These may fix your issue or help narrow down the problem you are experiencing.
Restart the App
Simply close the app and reopen the app. Please ensure that the app is closed, not just minimised. Please follow the steps below (steps may vary depending on device):
- Swipe from the bottom left corner and pause in the middle of the home screen.
- Swipe to close any unwanted apps.
- Reopen DEFY: Join the Revolution! app.
- Double-click the Home Button.
- Swipe to close any unwanted apps.
- Reopen DEFY: Join the Revolution! app.
Restart your Device
Restarting a device can resolve a wide range of technical issues. If the app is still not working as expected after restarting, please move on to the next troubleshooting step.
Update and Relaunch
Making sure your Device is up to date
Please follow the steps below (steps may vary depending on device):
- Open your device Settings.
- Scroll down and click General.
- Click Software update.

Please follow the steps below:
- Open App store on your device. (iOS 12 or earlier, tap Today at the bottom of the screen)
- Click on your Profile.
- Scroll down to see any pending updates for DEFY: Join the Revolution!
- Update the App if available.
Device Storage
If your device is running out of free space, the app may not function properly. Please check if there are any unused applications you can remove to free up space.
Check your Internet Connection
Ensure your device is connected to a reliable data connection while playing the App. If you do have issues try switching your internet source to Wifi from 4G or 4G from Wifi.
Uninstall and Reinstall
Delete the DEFY: Join the Revolution! app and reinstall the latest official version from the App Store or from our Homepage. You game progress will not be lost as all progress is saved online. Just simply use the same login details.
